How do I get Brotherhood?
First, you contact your chapter chief and/or chapter advisor. They can help you along the way. Second, you will need to write a letter reflecting on your future in the Order of the Arrow and your past experiences in your unit or troop. Third, you will have an interview. Another arrowman will ask you a couple of questions about the Order of the Arrow (see below). Fourth, you will do the Brotherhood Hike which is a time of reflection. Going through the ceremony is the last step. This is not a very difficult or time consuming process.

What are the requirements?
  1. Learn the signs of the Arrow membership.
  2. Advance in your understanding of the Ordeal.
  3. Service in your unit.
  4. Plan for service in your lodge.
  5. Review your progress (write a letter).
Who is eligible?
Any arrowman who has been an Ordeal Member for at least 10 months.
