First Time Here?

Is this the first time visiting this page? Have you just done your ordeal, and are now wondering now what do I do? No Worries, we are here to help you.

Things your packet should have included that you received after finishing your ordeal:

  • Letter from the Chapter Chief
  • Letter from the Lodge Chief
  • OA Handbook
  • Green Bordered Awase Lodge Pocket Flap
  • Fall Conference signup form and golden ticket attached (this allows you to go to fall conference for free, but you still need to register if attending)
  • Information about the OA Troop Representative Position
  • Information on the Jumpstart website
  • A copy of the Awase lodge Supplement book

Coming later in the mail will be your Lodge membership card.

Be sure to read over all the information you recieved during the course of you ordeal. The next OA event is Fall Confernce in August, it is being held at Gardner Dam, and is a lodge level event.

Also for those of you that have facebook, you can join our chapters group, we occasionally send out messages to alert you of upcoming events and important notices(meeting changes or other major things)

Also feel free to register and use the chapter forum, registration is simple and free. You can use the forum to interact with other arrowmen and to ask questions to the chapter officers about events.

So take some time to look over the chapter website. If you have any question do not hesitate to ask us.

Please note that the current chapter chief and incoming chapter chief are currently on staff at camp and it may take them awhile to respond. The one easiest to contact is the Chapter Vice Chief of Program, or the Secretary/Treasurer.

Nimat Program
A Nimat is basically somebody who helps an Ordeal member through the process of reaching Brotherhood and making sure that he is fully prepared to recieve the Brotherhood. They are encouraged to attend at least two chapter events, two lodge events, and at least one other event that could be another chapter or lodge event or a section, regional, or national event. Over the 10 months it takes to reach Brotherhood. That is kinda what the program is in a nut shell.

If you are interested in being a Nimat or would like further information, please let Dan (Chapter Chief) or Anders (Nimat Chair) know and they would be more then willing to help you out. You can earn a teal bordered patch if you help three ordeal members reach Brotherhood.

We would greatly apperciate anyone who is willing to help out. It truly could make a huge difference in someone's life and mean a lot to them. You also could make a new friend and help develop a fairly new program!
OA Troop/Team Representative

There is many troops/teams who have not notified us of their units OA Troop/Team Representative. Each unit is strongly encouraged to appoint one. It does count as a position fo rank advancement.

Each OA Troop/Team Representative is to attend the monthly chapter meetings, gather any information, and then bring it back to the troop/team's OA Members. It is a great link between the units and the Order of the Arrow.

You can attend any of the chapter meetings and we can get you all signed up to be an OA Troop/Team Representative. Also, we can answer any questions you may have!
